Median Iris Convention 2020

The Oklahoma Iris Society was proud to present the Median Iris Society’s 2020 Convention. Official dates were April 16–18, 2020, with garden tours and educational sessions planned around Oklahoma City area median collections.

Although pandemic restrictions reshaped travel that spring, OIS kept the median story alive in local programs: shorter bearded classes remain a focus at Will Rogers and in members’ front-of-border plantings. Guests still ask for Standard Dwarf and Intermediate varieties at the rhizome sale because they bloom early and stand up to wind.
